On 12^th July 2025 the Umbrella Distribution initiative by ‘Viavi Solutions’, Mumbai in collaboration with SUADHA NGO, had a positive and tangible impact on the lives of 500 deserving children from 1^st to 10^th Std. students in ‘Sarvodaya Hindi Madhyamik Vidyalaya in Kalyan (East)’. The project successfully addressed a critical seasonal need by providing students many of whom walk long distances to school with protection during the monsoon. This not only ensured better attendance but also promoted health and safety, especially for children from BPL and migrant families who often lack access to basic resources.

The initiative also helped build a stronger connection between the school, the NGO, and corporate stakeholders, fostering a sense of community support and encouragement. For many children, receiving a new umbrella was a moment of joy and dignity—something they would not have been able to afford otherwise.
