On behalf of ‘World Breast Cancer Awareness Month’ the Economic Department of SNDT College, Churchgate Mumbai, initiated a session on 16th October 2024 for ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Advocacy & Psychological Well Being of Women’ for their young female students. This is the 1st time in Mumbai that any college has thought for their young girls for the Breast cancer & Mental Wellness Session. There were around 60 students attending the session. At the sessions it was emphasizing the crucial link between psychological wellbeing & breast cancer. The NGO is grateful to Dr. Sanjay Phad, Head Department of Economic, SNDT College, Churchgate, Mumbai for this initiative and his full team of faculties who have made the session successful. Special thanks to Prof. Ms. Tauqeer, who has introduced the NGO to her college.
