On the occasion of Road Safety Awareness Month 2022, SUADHA NGO has organized and inaugurated 7 Eye check-up camps for Truck drivers. From Government of India, the Ministry Of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has selected our NGO to conduct this event for 7 days (from 2nd March to 9th March) at different National Highways around Thane district, Maharashtra. Team SUADHA is very much grateful to the Central Government for giving the great opportunity.

#Day- 1

The first camp was held on 2nd March 2022, at Padgha Toll Naka, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra, which is situated on NH-3 and known as Mumbai- Agra National Highway. On day 1, a total of 91 Drivers have attended the camp and out of that, 88 drivers have given spectacles. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sameer Shaikh -Plaza Manager, Mr. Sachin Chuthamol – Plaza IT Manager, Mr. Manilal Shimpi (Commander in Chief, RSP Group, Thane District), Mr. Kishor Patil- Editor + Reporter, and Padgha Village Sarpanch – Mr. Amol Bidvi & Mr. Jitendra Sonawane.

#Day- 2

The second camp was held on 3rd March 2022, at Padgha Toll Naka, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra, which is situated on NH-3 and known as Mumbai- Agra National Highway. On day 2, a total of 102 Drivers have attended the camp and out of that, 78 drivers have given spectacles. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sameer Shaikh -Plaza Manager, Mr. Sachin Chuthamol – Plaza IT Manager, Mr. Manilal Shimpi (Commander in Chief, RSP Group, Thane District), Mr. Kishor Patil- Editor + Reporter, and Padgha Village Sarpanch – Mr. Amol Bidvi & Mr. Jitendra Sonawane. We are thankful to the RTO Police, Plaza members for helping us to bring the drivers and managing the Toll Plaza for vehicle parking to conduct the camp smoothly.

#Day- 3

The third camp was held on 4th March 2022, at Mankoli Naka, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra, which is nearby to NH-160. On day 3, a total of 101 Drivers were screened through the camp. Out of that, 79 Truck drivers and 3 traffic police have given spectacles. We are thankful to Mr. Manilal Shimpi – Commander In Chief – RSP, Thane, Mr. Shyam Patil – PSI, Anjurphata Traffic Office, Mr. S. H. Tadvi – ASI- Anjurphata traffic Office, Mr. Ganesh Sawant -HSC, Mr. Choudhari – HSC and the whole traffic police team of Mankoli Naka for their support to bring the drivers and manage the vehicle parking to conduct the camp smoothly.

#Day- 4

The fourth camp was held on 5th March 2022, at Mankoli Naka, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra, which is nearby to NH-160. On day 4, a total of 106 Drivers were screened through the camp. Out of that, 82 people have been given spectacles. We are thankful to Mr. Manilal Shimpi – Commander In Chief – RSP, Thane, Mr. Somnath Karnavat – API, Anjurphata traffic Office Mr. Sachin Khatar – PSI, Anjurphata Traffic Office, Mr. Ganesh Sawant -HSC, Mr. Vilas Patil- HSC, Mr. Mukaddar Tadvi – HSC, and the whole traffic police team of Mankoli Naka for their support to bring the drivers and manage the vehicle parking to conduct the camp smoothly.

#Day- 5

The fifth camp was held on 7th March 2022, at Anjurphata, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra, which is nearby to NH-48 & NH-848. A total of 107 Drivers were screened through the camp. Out of that, 84 people have been given spectacles. We are thankful to Mr. Dnyaneshwar Awhad- P. I , Mr. Dilip More- PHC, Mr. Santosh Chaugule, Mr. Sanjay Bendre- H.C, Mr. Vijay Patil, P.C. and the whole traffic police team of Anjur Phata for their support to bring the drivers and manage the vehicle parking to conduct the camp smoothly.

#Day- 6

The sixth camp was held on 8th March 2022, at Anjurphata, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra, which is nearby to NH-48 & NH-848. A total of 107 Drivers were screened through the camp. Out of that, 84 people have been given spectacles. We are thankful to Mr. Manilal Shimpi, Commander In Chief- RSP Dept, Thane, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Awhad- P. I, Mr. Sachin Khatal- PSI, Mr. Dilip More- PHC, Mr. Santosh Chaugule and the whole traffic police team of Anjur Phata for their support to bring the drivers and manage the vehicle parking to conduct the camp smoothly.

#Day- 7

The seventh camp was held on 9th March 2022, at Padgha Toll Naka, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra, which is nearby to NH-3. A total of 145 Drivers were screened through the camp. Out of that, 114 people have been given spectacles. We are thankful to Mr. Manilal Shimpi, Commander In Chief- RSP Dept, Thane, Mr. Anand Singh- Plaza Project Manager, Mr. Raghunath More- Safety Manager, Mr. Sachin Chauthmol- IT & Operations Manager, Mr. Sameer Shaikh- Operation Manager, Mr. Abhishek Nagalkar- Upasarpanch, Padgha and the whole team of Padgha Toll Naka for their support to bring the drivers and manage the vehicle parking to conduct the camp smoothly.
