Make Wishes for Tribal Girl’s Marriage

The majority of Indian tribes practice monogamy. Polygamy is marriage to more than one person. Among Indian tribes, there are many who are following this type of matrimonial alliance. To get rid of these systems SUADHA NGO supports tribal girls’ marriage with all possible items that they never get in their homes. It’s not just help them to be a bride. We educate and empower those girls with their families to be examples of other tribal girls, who are getting married, for a better life, Carrier and eradicate early girl -child marriages among Tribal. Join hands for the cause to uplift the tribal people. We are grateful to our regular donors, Ms. Radhika Sasahne, Ms. Jyothi Singh, Ms. Amrita Pai, Ms. Vandana Arora, Ms. Bindu Hingwala and her friends circle for their generous support. Till date,a total of 16 tribal girls benefited from this project. We wish them a very happy and successful married life.

In the year 2020, the NGO supported 2 tribal girls from Murbad taluka, Thane district.

We supported them with all possible items to make them happy. Both they got married on just before the Cock Down of

Covid19 Pandemic.

1st Girl got married on 9th February 2020

2nd Girl got married on 16th March 2020

In the year 2021, during the Pandemic period, the NGO  supported a tribal girl from Murbad taluka, Thane district. She got married during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

The girl got married on 4th June 2021 in Ahmednagar. She is a graduate daughter of an agricultural labourer, a single parent hails near the Malshejghat area.  She wanted to take up a job but around 100 km, there is no facility for any jobs. She is very hardworking, and probably after marriage, she can take up a job for her bright future.

In the year 2022, the NGO  supported a tribal girl from Amravati, Nagpur.   

The girl got married on 14 March 2022 in Nashik district. This girl is from Amravati with single parents and educated 12th std. She was working in a small maternity home as a Clark, but due to Corona, she lost her job. Her mother requested us to support her in her marriage.

In the year 2023, during the Pandemic period, the NGO supported 3 tribal girls from Murbad taluka, near Malshejghat hill areas, Thane district. All the 3 girls belong to very poor families. We tried our best to support them.

1st Girl got married on 17th April 2023, She is 22 years old, 10th Passed, and belongs to agricultural labourers. Her father died due to corona, so she had to work in the field and was sending her younger sister to school. The groom also 10th passed. So we counselled them to join any training courses, and finally, they agreed and joined a vocational training course from SupremeTech Institute, Saralgaon to transform their marriage life and be an example in their community. We supported them in all possible ways in their marriage.

2nd Girl got married on 5th May 2023, She is 23 years 23-year-old tribal girl from Awalegaon, Malshejghat, and B.Ed Training, but not find any teaching jobs around 100 km. She is the highest educated girl in her house as well as her in-laws’ house. So she got married in Murbad, where she could get any teaching jobs.

3rd Girl got married on 7th May 2023 in Ahmednagar, She is a 23-year-old girl from Savarne, Malshejghat, Murbad Taluka, who has done B.Com. but no job facility in the surrounding area. So she had no choice but to work as an agricultural labourer for other people. She probably try jobs in Ahmednagar in the future.
