Australian Government supported Project “Hamari Sathi”, 11 iBreastExam for Cancer Screening Camps in various districts in Tripura, from 20th November 2023 to 1st December 2023. SUADHA NGO is grateful to ‘Australian High Commission’, New Delhi to support this project.
1st Camp: On 20th November 2023, NGO Inaugurated Project Hamari Sathi – iBreastExam Screening Cancer camp in Agartala city across Tripura state, raising awareness advocacy programs about timely intervention and screening and early detection saves lives.
Ms. Pratima Bhowmik, Honourable Member of Parliament from Tripura, Social Justice & Empowerment, addressed the women and made them aware about the disease and encouraged the women to come forward to the scanning camp.

5th Camp: On 25th November 2023, NGO organised Project Hamari Saathi – Early Breast Cancer Clinical
Detection Camp and raising awareness advocacy on Breast Cancer programs at Jalal Khidmat All Insaf Foundation, Chataria, Udaipur, Gomoti district, Tripura. Awareness Advocacy lecture given by Ms. Iva Athavia. Managing Director of the NGO.
Special thanks to Mr. Jalal Mohd Miya, Founder-Trustee of the above foundation, who had given his full building for the camp.
6th Camp: On 25th November 2023, NGO organised Project Hamari Saathi – Clinical Detection of Breast Screening Camp and raising awareness advocacy on Breast Cancer programs at Jawaharlal Nehru Balika Niwas, Chinaihani, Near Pump house, Airport Road, Agartala, Tripura. This home is under care of CWC, for the age group of 6 years to 18 years destitute/orphan girls. All the elder staff and neighbouring women attended the camp. Being Saturday all the girls were at home only. Mrs.Iva Athavia, MD of the NGO interacted with all the girls and discussed about Cancer & Hygiene Awareness.
7th Camp: On 27th November 2023, NGO organised Project Hamari Saathi – Clinical Detection of Breast Screening Camp and raising awareness advocacy on Breast Cancer programs at Maharaj Bir Bikram College, Agartala, Tripura. In today’s programme, Dr. Nirmal Bhadra, Principal of MBB College, inaugurated the camp along with Dr. Ivy Choudhury, Secretary Teachers Council, MBB College, Dr. Goutam Ghoshal, HOD, Department of Human Physiology, MBB College, and three team members from SUADHA. Awareness Advocacy lecture given by Ms. Iva Athavia. Managing Director of the NGO and long discussion about Cancer, Health hygiene as well as life style.
8th Camp: On 28th November 2023, NGO organized Project Hamari Saathi – Clinical Detection of Breast Screening Camp and raising awareness advocacy on Breast Cancer programs at Bhatri Sangha, Ashrampada, Jolaibari, South
Tripura. The programme inaugurated Dr.Vinita Chakma, Medical officer from Jolaibari Health Centre, Mr. Bikas

9th Camp: On 29th November 2023, NGO organised Project Hamari Saathi – Clinical Detection of Breast Screening
Camp and raising awareness advocacy on Breast Cancer programs at Govt. Degree College, Shantir Bazar, South Tripura.The programme inaugurated by Mr. Abhyananda Baidya- SDM from Jolaibari, Dr. Sanjay Das-Principal of the college, Mr. Deepak Hirishidas- Secretary of Teachers Counsellor of the college and Iva Athavia MD of SUADHA. The college organized Breast Screening Camp and raising awareness advocacy along with HIV/AIDS awareness advocacy program, where NSS Program Officer Dr. Hamari Jamatia addressed the presented group of faculty, students attending events with quiz and poster competitions. Shantir Bazar Press Club Editor Mr. Bikram Debnath and many people from Shintir Bazar members attended the program. The event was hosted by Asst. Prof. Minakshi Dutta Pal.
10th Camp: On 30th November 2023, NGO organised 10th Day Project Hamari Saathi – Clinical Detection of Breast
Screening Camp and raising awareness advocacy on Breast Cancer programs at Samaj Shakti Society, Khayerpur, Belmura Health & Wellness Centre, Mekhlipara, West Tripura. This NGO organized the camp at Bermuda Public Health Clinic. On their request from the government supported AYUSH doctors, so all the Tea Garden women attended the camp with their children to meet PHC ‘s AYUSH doctors and can take monthly medicines. The Society invited a group of Nursing College Students boys & girls to attend a Breast Cancer advocacy program
