On 9th March 2024, on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2024 SUADHA started 3 Months Adv. Tailoring Course with Sewing Machine donation for 17 Tribal Women for empowering them at remote village Ghartenpada, under Khoste Group Gram Panchayat, inside Aghai Reserve Forest, Shahapur taluka, Thane, Maharashtra, which is 103 km far away from Mumbai city. The project is supported by VIAVI SOLUTIONS. After completing the 3 months course, Sewing Machines & Certificates are going to be distributed among the women from SupremeTech Institute-Gramin Kaushalya Vikas Kendra- Skill Development Training Centre, Saralgaon, Murbad, which is run by SUADHA NGO.

We grateful to Mr. Avinash Wagh , CSR Head of VIAVI SOLUTIONS, Mumbai for his personal presence & interaction with the beneficiaries. We are also thankful to Khoste Gram Panchayat Pradhan,  Mrs. Naina Bhusare & Police Patil Mr. Baliram Thakre to allow us to conduct the weekly 3 days- Friday, Saturday & Sunday classes at their village hall. Ms. Naina organized and inaugurated the function very well. On the occasion of Women’s Day, around 40 Women attended the event. NGO wished all of them with Haldi-Kumkum, Bouquet of flowers, Sanitary Pads & Biscuits for Children.
