On 26th June 2024, NGO completed the 3 Months Tailoring Course that started on 9th March – A Income generating program for tribal women at Gattanpada, Khoste Village, Aghai Reserve Forest, Shahapur taluka, Thane, Maharashtra. The project was supported by VIAVI SOLUTIONSโ€™ Mumbai through CSR Initiative project on the occasion of International Women Day. 17 women were learning the tailoring course since 9th March 2024. NGO distributed 19 Certificates and 11 Sewing Machines to tribal women for their completion of 3 months course.

Our special thanks to Mr. Avinash Wagh- Manager โ€“ Sales Support & Operations Network and Service Enablement, Viavi Solutions. Our thanks to Naina Bhusare – Village Sarpanch and Mr. Baliram Thakare – Police Patil for giving us the village hall to conduct the tailoring course at such a far remote
area. We are grateful to Mr Sandeep Sutar – Tailor Master, who has a vast experience for the same and agreed to visit weekly 3 days at this remote area to teach the tribal women.

NGO needs 8 more Sewing Machines to support these women, who have not received the Sewing Machines.
