Disability culture is about visibility and self-value. As with many groups in society, recognition by others only comes with self-awareness within the group of the groups’ differences and strengths. On 4th December 2024, on behalf of World Disable Dayโ€™ SUADHA visited their Adopted โ€˜Avani Matimanda Residential Schoolโ€™ for the Mentally challenged at Mal village, Murbad taluka, Thane district. There were a total 27 mental health boys residing there. Ngo donated a Set of Uniforms and Snack packets for all. The NGO is grateful to the center director Mrs. Prathibha Krishna Haraksetti and her Team for their support.
