JANUARY 2021

12/01/2021 – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 24th National Youth Festival could not be organized, but remembering Swami Vivekananda, the theme of this year's festival is “YUVAAH – Utsah Naye Bharat Ka”, which suggests that the youth bring alive the celebration of New India. NGO organized a program at Jagruti Nagar, Ghatkopar, Mumbai with 50 youth. There was awareness on Health & Hygiene post Covid, Self-Defense steps, and Career guidance. NGO also organized a guidance and counseling session with a group of 50 young ladies for income-generating small-scale businesses from home. NGO is grateful to Monali Roy, Shivaji Bhoir, Reena Titre, and 3rd–Degree Black Belt Master Ms. Sarvanta Thorkirti for conducting this event. Masks, colorful blankets, cake, chocolates, and chips packets were distributed to all attendees.

14/01/2021 – In this pandemic situation, on the special occasion of Makar Sankranti, NGO organized a small program at Pendri Village inside Aghai Reserve Forest, near Tansa Dam, Shahapur taluka, Thane district, Maharashtra. This village is located around 170 km away from Mumbai city. NGO distributed Ration/Groceries, Masks, Old Clothes, Cloth bags, etc. among 50 tribal families. Social workers conducted an awareness lecture on Covid & Hygiene.

26/01/2021 – To celebrate Republic Day on 26th January 2021, NGO organized a program at Awale village, Murbad taluka, Thane district. The village is situated at the foothill of Malshejghat around 155 km from Mumbai city. At the village hall, 125 families with their children attended the program. There was awareness on Health & Hygiene post Covid and the use of Naturopathy in human lives. NGO distributed 125 blankets, herbal toothpaste, cake, snacks, and masks to all attendees. NGO is grateful to volunteers Mrs. Durgavati Chowdhuri, Mrs. Mangala Chavan, and Mr. Anand Lahote for their generous support.


FEBRUARY 2021

03/02/2021 – SUADHA NGO along with Mr. Avinash Wagh, CSR Executive from Viavi Solution Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon Delhi, distributed grocery packets to 110 deserving families at Ekviranagara Nagar Ground, Vangani, Ambernath taluka, Thane district, Maharashtra. Most of the beneficiaries were blind individuals, auto-rickshaw drivers’ families, and daily wage vendors who had no source of income for the past year. The village is located around 95 km from Mumbai city. Awareness was given on Road Safety and Health & Hygiene post Covid. NGO expressed gratitude to Mr. Avinash Wagh for his support in distributing food grains/groceries and for his personal presence with both his daughters during the pandemic.

11/02/2021 – World Cancer Day was observed at Gadge Maharaj Dharamshala, CST. Dr. Ravi M. Doctor from Saifee Hospital conducted a cancer awareness lecture and actively participated to guide & counsel patients. MAY 2021

10/05/2021 & 15/05/2021 – During the 2021 pandemic and lockdown, Volunteers Group helped rural communities with guidance, counseling, and Covid-related information. They distributed door-to-door:

  • 1400 Masks
  • 350 Sanitizer Bottles

Locations: Vikashwadi village and Varegaon village in Karjat taluka.

NGO expressed gratitude to volunteers: Sanjay Chaure, Sunil Mhase, Santosh Mhase, Deepak Mhase, Nitin Choure, Dayanand Khade, and Rajesh Mhase.


JUNE 2021

04/06/2021 – SUADHA NGO distributed Livinguard 3-layered antiviral face masks (clinically proven to destroy viruses on contact and washable up to 30 times):

  • 1000 masks to front-line workers at KDMC Health Departments, Kalyan
  • 75 masks at Asha Cancer & Research Hospital, Thane

10/06/2021 – On behalf of SUADHA NGO, Mr. Shivaji Bhoir visited various Govt. Hospitals and Covid Vaccine Centers in Murbad taluka to distribute Livinguard masks:

  • #40 Masks – Saralgaon Govt. Covid Vaccine Center, Murbad
  • #37 Masks – Covid Vaccine Center, Masha, Murbad
  • #100 Masks – Govt. Hospital, Murbad
  • #28 Masks – Gramin Rugnalay cum Covid Vaccination Center, Shivale, Murbad

AUGUST 2021

06/08/2021 – SUADHA NGO organized a Flood Relief Drive for flood-affected people in various villages of Mahad Taluka, Raigad District (Kaul Gaon, Vadavli Gaon, Taliye Gaon, Bouddha Wadi, Mahad city, etc.). Items distributed included:

  • Grocery kits
  • Clothes
  • Blankets
  • Plastic mats
  • Mugs
  • Masks
  • Sanitizers
  • Phenyl
  • Livinguard sanitary pads

NGO expressed gratitude to: Nihchal Israni Foundation, Ammada Trust, Radhe Mohan Group, Bharat Bikash Parishad, and Durga Mata Seva Mandal.

SEPTEMBER 2021

06/09/2021 – In the COVID-19 pandemic situation, SUADHA NGO supported students at Primary Khuded Residential Tribal School, Tibaspada, Vikramgad taluka, Palghar district. Items distributed included:

  • Different snacks
  • Notebooks
  • Pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, scales
  • Clothes

The school is located in Khuded village, 96 km away from Kalyan city and educates 300 tribal children from Std. 1 to 7. The school required School Kits (Uniform, Bag & Shoes) and 50 Ceiling Fans as the school did not have a single fan.

NGO is thankful to Mr. Nitin Mahatre from Thane for requesting collection of old clothes for students, many of whom were from flood-affected areas. NGO Field Coordinator Mr. Shivaji Bhoir coordinated and delivered all items to the school.
