CSR Initiative by GIC Re, Mumbai
CSR support was provided for school development and a 21-block sanitation project at Valivare Residential Tribal School, Valivare village, at the foothills of Malsejghat, Murbad Taluka, Thane District, Maharashtra. The school is located approximately 146 km from Mumbai city.
On 1st October 2016, the NGO helped construct:
- 11 units of toilets
- 10 units of bathrooms for girls and boys
- Flooring and painting for 2 rooms
- RO plant with drinking water facility
These developments benefited 352 tribal children.
