World No Tobacco Day' is appealing “Unmasking – Countering Nicotine and Tobacco Addiction.”
On May 30, 2026, Suadha NGO observed World No Tobacco Day by organizing a Free Oral Cancer Screening Camp at Rickshaw Stand, Kalyan. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and emphasize the importance of early detection of oral cancer. Continuous anti-tobacco messages and slogans were shared throughout the event, and informative pamphlets were distributed to educate the public about the serious risks associated with tobacco consumption.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jeetendra K. Themke and Dr. Jaywanti Themke for attending the camp and providing valuable guidance and support. A total of 99 individuals underwent oral health check-ups during the camp.
