CSR Initiative by Westpac Banking Corporation, Mumbai (FY 2018–19)
Westpac Banking Corporation supported a 4-block sanitation project at Jai Kumar Jain Tribal Residential School, Kochai, Talasari Taluka, Palghar District, Maharashtra. The school is located in a remote area approximately 220 km away from Mumbai city.
On 26th September 2019, the NGO handed over the completed sanitation project, which included:
- 2 units of toilets
- 2 units of bathrooms
There are 680 beneficiaries — deserving tribal students residing at the school.
