Road Safety Advocacy 2021
SUADHA NGO has organized and inaugurated the “Road Safety Advocacy Program” in 2021 for the first time. The Central Government (Ministry Of Road Transport & Highways) has selected our NGO to conduct Road Safety Advocacy Program from 18th January to 17th February at different places of Thane district, Maharashtra. Team SUADHA is very much grateful to the Central Government for giving the great opportunity.
**Observation of 1st Road Safety Advocacy Program 2021: On the special occasion of Road Safety Month 2021, SUADHA NGO has organized & felicitated the guests on 1st event, held on 28th January at Swami Narayan Hall, Opp. KDMC, Kalyan (W) from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. There are almost 125 people attended the program. The following events organized at the program-
- Road safety Awareness Presentation.
- Street play on Alertness of Road safety.
- Osteoporosis Screening camp and distribution of Calcium medicines.
- Pamphlets, a gift to all the people.
- Lunch for all attendees.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. T P Chavan (Dy. RTO Kalyan), Mr. Deepak Shinde (Dy. RTO, Tardeo, Mumbai ) & Mr. Manilal Shimpi (Commander in Chief, RSP Group, Thane District).
Mr. Vaibhav Kale from ‘Gargi Institute of Driving & Road safety’, Thane presented about Road Safety Awareness & conducted a quiz among the audience. NGO merchandise T-Shirts with three colors and Don’ts & Do’s of Traffic Rules brochure launched by the esteemed guests. A street play was presented by Garja Rangmanch Group on Road Safety. From the beginning, NGO has organized Osteoporosis Screening Camp for all the attended people. NGO has Felicitated Mr. Sachin Suroshi and Mr. Dinesh Thakkar, the Worriers of SUADHA COVID-19 Task Force member for their excellent contribution to this pandemic. Among all the people NGO distributed pamphlets, T-Shirts & Gift Bags. Lunch has been arranged for all the people at the event.
**Observation of 2nd Road Safety Advocacy Program 2021: On the 29th morning 3 hours Mr. Shivaji Bhoir SUADHA NGO, staff, and a few of our volunteers distributed Pamphlets and made the drivers alert about their safety at Murbad town highway, Thane district.
**Observation of 3rd Road Safety Advocacy Program 2021: On 30th January from 4 pm to 5 pm at front of Kalyan station west side, opposite Parking place NGO organized awareness program with street play especially Auto drivers and road travelers by Garja Rangmanch Group. Ms. Sunita Rajputh, Asst. PST-Traffic police Kalyan with RSP Group Mr. Manilal Shimpi (commander in Chief, RSP Group, Thane District) and his team attended and showed their support for the same. NGO distributed pamphlets, T-Shirts & Gift Bags to 120 Auto drivers.
Observation of 5th Road Safety Advocacy Program 2021: On 1st February at RTO office Kalyan, NGO organized an awareness program from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm with street play especially for license holder drivers who were come for their license or other works by Badlapur Group. Mr. T P Chavan (Dy. RTO Kalyan), Mr. Deepak Shinde (Dy. RTO, Tardeo, Mumbai& Kalyan), Mr. Manilal Shimpi RSP (commander in Chief, RSP Group, Thane District), and his team attended and showed their support for the same.
Observation of 6th Road Safety Advocacy Program 2021: For the second program on 1st February at RTO Driving Test Ground, Umbrade Road, Kalyan, NGO organized an awareness program from 12.30 am to 1.30 pm with Awareness and Street play by Badlapur Group especially for people/drivers who were attended to give test examination before getting their license. Mr. Deepak Shinde (Dy. RTO, Tardeo, Mumbai & Kalyan) was conducted a Quiz among the present people and distributed 120 drivers Bags & T-Shirts. Mr. Manilal Shimpi RSP (Commander in Chief, RSP Group, Thane District) and his team attended and showed their support for the same.
Observation of 7th Road Safety Advocacy Program 2021: On 1st February at Durgadi Kila Circle, Traffic Control office, Kalyan, NGO organized awareness program from 1.45 am to 2.30 pm with Awareness and Street play by Badlapur Group especially for people/drivers who were passing the road and attended the program. Mr. Sukhdev Patil, Deputy Traffic Police Controller- addressed the people who attended and distributed 35 Traffic Police with T-shirts and Bags as a token of gifts. Mr. Manilal Shimpi RSP (commander in Chief, RSP Group, Thane District) and his team attended and showed their support for the same.
Observation of 8th Road Safety Advocacy Program 2021: On 1st February at Ulhasnagar – 1, Police Station, Traffic Control office, NGO organized awareness program from 4 pm to 5 pm with Awareness and Street play by Badlapur Group for the around people who attended the program. Mr. Shrikant Dharne-Senior ACP and Mr. Dutta Todewad- Asst. ACP has actively taken part in the event. After finishing, they took the whole team to Gajanand Chowk, Ulhasnagar-3 for the event. Ms. Gaytri M. Satkale- RSP Officer, Ulhasnagar-1 and Ms. Rekha Thakur- Principal of Nateji school & Secretary of Sindhu Educational Society- attended and address the people and distributed 50 T-Shirt & Bags as a token of gifts. Mr. Manilal Shimpi RSP (Commander in Chief, RSP Group, Thane District) and his team attended and showed their support for the same.
Observation of 9th Road Safety Advocacy Program 2021: On 1st February at Gajanand Chawk, Ulhasnagar- 3, NGO organized an awareness program from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm with Awareness and Street play by Badlapur Group for the around people who attended the program. Mr. Shrikant Dharne-Sr. ACP and Mr. Dutta Todewad- Asst. ACP has actively taken part in the event and is highly appreciated for the NGO activities. Ms. Gaytri M. Satkale- RSP Officer, Ulhasnagar-1 and Ms. Rekha Thakur- Principal of Nateji school & Secretary of Sindhu Educational Society attended and addressed the people and distributed 50 T-shirts and Bags as a token of gifts.
