On Amrit Mahotsav, on  15th August 2022, on the special occasion of  the 75th Independence Day, by the company support NGO handed over 12 Blocks of Sanitation System – 6 for Girls & 6 for Boys to the Residential Tribal school at Zapwadi, Murbad Taluka, Thane district, Maharashtra, which is 92 km. away from Mumbai city for 720 tribal students from 1^st Std to 10^th Std of the school. The students performed songs and the traditional beautiful Lezim dance to welcome the corporate team. NGO organized a Pledge on ‘Clean Sanitation system & Green Village, and No use of Plastic’ for all the people present.

We are grateful to Ms. Naina Kotian, Vice President- Nodal Officer of the UTIITSL Nodal committee and Mr.Sandeep Shirke –Deputy Manager to survey and need assessment with the visit to the school project site. Mr. Dinesh Yadav – Deputy Manager, Mr. Dattaram Shenavi – Sr. Manager and Ms.Naina Kotian from the CSR department of UTIITSL for their presence and active cooperation.
