In the year 2021, during the pandemic period, the NGO supported one tribal girl from Murbad Taluka, Thane District. She got married during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are grateful to our regular donors — Ms. Radhika Sasahne, Ms. Jyothi Singh, Ms. Amrita Pai, Ms. Bindu Hingwala and her friends circle — for their generous support.
The girl got married on 4th June 2021 in Ahmednagar. She is a graduate and the daughter of a single-parent agricultural labourer from the Malshejghat area. She wanted to take up a job, but within a 100 km radius, there were no job opportunities available. She is very hardworking, and hopefully after marriage, she will be able to pursue a job for a brighter future.
